26th November
Lots of info to give you - I'll be as quick as I can! Firstly, our Xmas Party Dance on 16th December is now SOLD OUT! Tickets for this went very quickly this year so sorry if you missed out. Booking is now open for our Eastbourne Dance Weekends for 2012 however - dates are 30th March - 1st April; 26th-28th October and 9th - 11th November. Booking forms available from Julie or Rosina.

Last evening class for 2011 will be Friday 9th December for those not coming to the xmas party. Final tea dance date is 21st December, although the Thursday Tea dance at Dance Junction will remain open throughout the xmas and New Year period - so plenty of opportunity to dance off that Turkey and all those sprouts!!

Our new term of classes and dances start on Wednesday 4th January with the afternoon Tea Dance at St Matthews.

In the event of any heavy snow over the winter period, please contact us on 07983 397439 or email Julie on julie3rose@yahoo.co.uk before you head out to check if any classes or dances have been disrupted.

7th August
Wow - has it really been 8 months since I last wrote! Time flies when you're having fun, or in our case, working!

Just to let you all know that we will be taking a brief summer break after the friday class on 12th August, so there will be some class closures: NO Wednesday class on 17th August and NO Friday class on 19th and 26th August. Thursday Tea Dances at Dance Junction will remain open, and there WILL be a Wednesday class on 24th August. Normal service will resume on 31st August!

On 7th September we will be starting a NEW Wednesday afternoon Tea Dance at St Matthews Community Centre from 1pm-3pm. £3 per person inc Tea and Biscuits.

We still have a few spaces left for our Eastbourne Dance Weekend on 11-13th November, but you need to be quick! We also have a few tickets left for our theatre trip to see the new production of GHOST - The Musical in London on 18th January 2012 - but again, you need to book asap!

19th December
Thanks to everyone who came to the Xmas Party - think Julie and Rosina's surprise Cabaret was a highlight for everyone -and a brilliant Cabaret from Julie and Nick too - don't say we don't give you value for money!! Videos of both cabarets are uploaded on our Facebook Page so take a look!
Our new term starts on Wednesday 5th January at 7.30 - beginners class at Parkwood School. Don't forget the Dance Junction Tea Dance will remain open throughout the Xmas period (weather permitting!) so if you're off work why not pop down.

Hi all - Yep - Classes tonight at St Matthews are CANCELLED. We will try and inform as many people as possible but if you are in contact with others please let them know as well - hopefully we'll see you all next Wednesday or Friday for our Xmas Party Dance. The Tea Dance at Dance Junction this afternoon - 2nd December - is cancelled due to the bad weather. We will keep you posted regarding the classses tomorrow night. Check our facebook page for updates as well. Keep warm everyone!

Hi everyone! Well, what are your thoughts on Strictly? Are you a fan of Matt, amazed at Felicity's splits, or look forward to Sssssscott!! every week? Why not join in the discussions at our FACEBOOK group - it's been quite lively!!

Tickets are STILL AVAILABLE - But only just - for our Christmas Party Dance on FRIDAY 10th NOVEMBER - 8-11pm £8 EACH - bring your own drinks n nibbles!

The Eastbourne weekends are over for another year - thanks to everyone who attended, and as usual I think all enjoyed themselves. We will let you know next years dates as soon as possible.

Hi all. Its been a while since we updated - apologies! Been busy with our new FACEBOOK group page - Latin Fever. Quite entertaining seeing some of the comments from our friends regarding the new series of Strictly Come Dancing - why not join us and let us know what you think.
We've also just had another successful Dance weekend in Eastbourne - I think it's safe to say that everyone had a fantastic time, and the weather stayed nice for a change! Check out some of the photos on the Eastbourne dance page - they start from the second row of page 4. Julie and Rosina are doing it all over again on the 29th-31st October!!
Finally, tickets are now on sale for our Christmas Party Dance on Friday 10th December at St Matthews Community Centre - £8 per person and bring your own drinks n nibbles - this is always popular so make sure you get your tickets - e-mail us or pick them up at one of our classes!

To launch our new season in September of Tea Dances at Dance Junction, Rochester, the first Dance will be FREE! Come along on Thursday 2nd September from 2.00-4.00pm for an afternoon of FREE Ballroom, Latin and Sequence Dancing. Tea and Biscuits will be included and we will also be having a FREE PRIZE DRAW. Plus, everyone attending will receive a 2 for 1 voucher for the following week - so what have you got to lose??!!

The first major piece of news to tell you is that starting from Thursday 20th May, we will be commencing a NEW Social Tea Dance at the Fantastic DANCE JUNCTION studios in Rochester. This will be held every thursday from 2-4pm. If you've not been to this venue before, then you're in for a treat! Take a look at their website, which can be easily accessed using the link on our contacts page. More details on our classes page, or just give us a ring.

Don't forget, the fantastic Best Ballroom are holding another one of their Sunday afternoon dances, next Sunday, 18th April at The Stanley House Ballrooms, rear of St Georges Hotel, New Road, Chatham from 3pm. Advanced booking is essential for this. We will be there, as will a number of our pupils! Again, you can access their website through our contacts page.

Rosina will shortly be taking reservations for this years Dance Weekends at the Hydro Hotel in Eastbourne. This years dates are 8th-10th October and 29th-31st October. Both dates include two nights' bed, breakfast and four course evening meal, plus dancing on friday and saturday evenings, and sunday mornings for the more energetic ones! A Sherry reception is also included on the friday evening. These weekends are extremely popular and limited numbers are available, so early booking is advised! We will be adding a special 'Eastbourne' page to the website soon, so keep checking back!
